SELL, CONSIGN OR DONATE A SAIL
For unwanted used sails or sails you want to sell, simply send or drop them off at Masthead Enterprise’s facility in St. Petersburg, Florida. You can call or email us to help you make shipping arrangements to our facilities. We will evaluate your sail and contact you with the following options:
- Buyout Price – you receive payment or store credit upon completion of inspection of your sail
- Consignment Net Price – your sail is evaluated and listed for sale, you will receive a percentage between 50% and 65% of the selling price depending on value when the sail has been sold. Consigned sails will generally net a higher yield than a buyout price.
- Donate to a Cause – we work with several non-profit sailing institutions that will receive the proceeds from your sail when it sells. You will receive a 501(c)3 tax deduction certificate upon donation.
Please note, sails that fail to meet our minimum standards will be disposed of. Customers that prefer to have the sail returned will pay for return shipping and handling
